ALL ACCESS ADVENTURES Garage Sale at the Community Clay Studio in Mount Pleasant!

Learn to tie dye with fashion designer, Madeleine Porter, and customize your very own "Welcome to the Shred Club" All Access Adventures tee, so you're ready for all of your summer shred-ventures!

We are celebrating the end of another good winter by saying goodbye to backcountry touring and saying hello to a new paddling and surfing season.

Wax up your board at our DIY Wax Station before you store it for the season, shop some used gear including, splitboards, skis, splitboard bindings, SUPs, paddles, outerwear, surf gear, poles and more!

TICKETS: 

We are offering sliding scale tickets to keep this event accessibly priced for all to enjoy.  As always, we are donating a portion of our ticket sales and this time proceeds will be going to Protect Our Winters.

$10 for entry, a beverage and an evening of good times/high fives

$15-20 for DIY Wax Station use and a beverage

$50 for tie dye workshop (includes the cost of your tee, dye, instruction and all the supplies!), a beverage (beer or non-alc)

RAFFLE: 

We are doing a raffle and donating a portion of the proceeds to POW cause we are STOKED on protecting our environment. 

Prizing from SUP and Foil, All Access Adventures, Russell Brewing and other local vendors! We are also giving away one hand-dyed and screen printed, "Welcome to the Shred Club" tee, lovingly designed and printed here in East Van by Madeleine Porter. 


Paddle Palz Meetup

WHEN: Tuesday May 7, 2024

TIME: Starts 6pm (launch at 630pm) Ends 8/8:30 pm

WHERE: Meet at Jericho Parking Lot West

WHO: Everyone- Queer Folx and Allies!

We will have your board ready for you at the meeting spot, but do require you to help deflate and pack up at the end :)

Paddle Palz Meet-up Info

Join us for a paddle and meet some new palz while you’re at it!

**If you have your own board, canoe or kayak, please come and paddle with us! Your $10-15 donation will go towards running our weekly meetups and every month, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to a community organization. We have raised funds for UNYA (Urban Native Youth Association), CHILL (the Burton youth foundation), Mount Pleasant Mutual Aid and many other important causes over the years.

All Access acknowledges that we are paddling in the waters of the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

OTHER STUFF TO KNOW:

Please bring:

  • water

  • sandals

  • towel/change of clothes

  • sunnies (protect your eyeballs, damnit!)/ sunscreen

  • dry bag (we have some if you need one!)

Other:

  • good vibes

  • bubbles

  • waterproof speaker

  • party whistle

  • cute doggos, in their own lil PFDs

  • snax (we will have some, but bring some if you want!)


Winter Touring Meet Ups

WHEN: 6:30pm meet up, 7:00pm start hike. Finish approx 9:00pm

DATES: Thursdays, March 14, 21, 28, April 4, 11 (snowpack and weather dependent)

WHERE: Seymour slackcountry. Meet at the P5 lot (along the road) for backcountry users.

Parking is limited so please consider carpooling, evos or let us know and we can connect you with other participants!

WHO: Splitboarders, Skiers, or Snowshoers (carrying skis or boards)

We will have your splitboard and other rental gear ready for you at the meeting spot. No need to pick up from our shop.

** This is a beginner friendly meetup and no AST is required, as we do not venture into avalanche terrain. Please consider taking your Avalanche Skills Training with one of our industry partners, Canada West Mountain School or Altus. This is a wonderful way to meet other folx who are new (or experienced!) and want to go touring! No splitboarding experience is required, but you must be able to ride or ski down blue runs safely and be able to hike continuously for 1 hour to come on this tour.**

PACKING LIST:

  • Mandatory items:

    • -helmet  (good condition)

      -headlamp

      -jacket - shell is recommended (it gets hot on the way up), bring a midlayer/sweaters (and one extra) for the start and on the way down. always wear a technical baselayer.

      -snow pants- shell is recommended  (it gets hot on the way up)

      -gloves (liners or something for the way up and warm waterproof gloves for the way down)

      -goggles

      -neck buff or face covering
      -toque

      -snowboard boots (normal resort snowboarding boots) or ski boots (normal resort boots)
      water

      -small pack for water, extra layers, gloves, snacks, water

      -poles - retractable with snow baskets

      -extra STOKE!!!!
